SIMPSON completed the £1.8million redevelopment at Rievaulx Abbey in the North York Moors for English Heritage.
The project saw the creation of a new Visitors’ Centre and Café, as well as improvements to the existing museum facilities. A patio area was also created to facilitate outdoor dining.
Original materials were restored and incorporated within the new structure in order to complement the surroundings.
