We are delighted to have undertaken this project for the Tees, Esk & Wear Valley NHS Trust. The project was undertaken over 30 weeks and had a totally value of £1.7million.
The project was to refurbish an existing 3 storey property in Huntington, York and transform it into the trust’s largest mental health community hub.
The works included a complete strip out of the existing building including partitions, ceilings, floor finished and mechanical and electrical services to take the premises back to the original shell. This allowed for internal remodeling to provide the desired layout across each of the three floors.
A full fit-out was then undertaken which included partitioning on all floors to create additional meeting, consultation and treatment rooms. New suspended ceilings were installed and a full joinery fit-out undertaken which included new doors, architraves, skirting, kitchen areas and toilet facilities on all floors.
Furthermore, a completely new high specification mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) installation was undertaken throughout the building.
Externally we undertook the formation of car parks, the installation of bike shelters, and hard and soft landscaping.
The project was delivered to the highest standard providing accommodation to support around 250 staff from nine clinical areas, ultimately delivering high quality community-centred care for outpatients that require mental health support.
