SIMPSON have completed a new 4200 sqmt extension and new build works for Haywood & Padgett in Barnsley, with an overall project value of £4.8 million.

The scope of works included :

• Extension works to the existing bakery including new production/packaging areas
• Extension to the existing Bakery Offices
• New canteen / Changing facilities
• Warehouse Extension
• New factory including separate welfare offices
• External works including concrete roads, tarmac park and roads, retaining walls and entrance gate.

As the works were undertaken in the vicinity and adjacent to a live production facility, measures were taken and implemented throughout to ensure minimal disruption.
